Congratulations to Azevada’s first Tech Challenge team to compete in the San Jose Tech Museum’s Challenge for 2018.
This competition is one of the largest in the country and we are thankful to Kushal, Om, Shailesh, and Saumit for representing the All Stars
with courage, determination, self-direction, and inquiry skills. We also recognize Zoe, Kalum, and Jiahui for their efforts to support the team. All these students have inspired others to think big and lead the way. Thank you to Ms. Johnson (our Science Teacher) for ideas and to Shailesh’s dad and Om’s mom for collaboration and leadership. We could not have done it without you. We hope to see more students at the competition next year. https://www.thetech.org/thetechchallenge
We would like to recognize the following authors who have been selected to be nationally published in the Young Authors’ Poetry collection of 2018:
Lily, Alex, James, Colin, Zoe, Saumit, Alessandria, Genevieve, Kaylee, Kalum,  Jom, Shailesh, and Connor. Thank you for sharing your writing skills and talent with us. Also, thank you to our librarian, Ms. I, for pointing us in the right direction.
Book orders at http://youngpoets.org/ and will arrive in October.
Research how writing good code is related to writing good poetry.
Remember to stop by the Alameda County Fair in Pleasanton this summer to see art that has been chosen to compete in the 2018 Art Competition. Our students love to show their creativity.
